Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you will know, my Mum died of cancer at Dorothy House Hospice, Winsley near Bath on New Year's Eve 2009.  Since then I have been on a bizarre (for me) health trip which has seen me lose around 4 stone (to date - 17.12.10.- ).  I've also recently completed a 10K run and am now setting my sights higher at the Bath Half Marathon.  I really want to give something back to Dorothy House as they did so much to help my Mum die with dignity and will be running the Half Marathon, along with my friends and colleagues Emma Dawson and Melanie King, to raise funds for them.  Please give as generously as you feel able and thank you in advance for your support.

Update on the race: I completed the course in 2 hours, 40 minutes and 1 second.  Emma had to pull out several weeks before the race with injured knees.  We missed her, but she was there to support us at the start.  Mel completed the course in 2 hours, 18 minutes and 20 seconds.  You can see photos recording our efforts on this page and watch Dom crossing the finishing line by following the video link.
