Story

WDG is organising a Remembrance Day 24km March.

We are walking up the Pen y Fan (in Wales) now famous within the Special Forces Community for its test march on week two.

We will be doing this to commemorate remembrance and hold a two minute silence at the top.

We will be doing this on Sunday 13th, on remembrance day.

We will be raising money for: REORG, MyTime Young Carers, Rock2Recovery and Dorset Children's Foundation.

MTYC - Meet Sadie. Sadie’s mum has multiple sclerosis, and Sadie has been caring for her since she was just 5 years old. Sadie does a lot to help her mum, but it’s not easy. She’s often exhausted, she finds it difficult to keep up with schoolwork and she worries about the future. Most of all, Sadie feels alone, even though there are an estimated 700,000 young carers in the UK today. MYTIME exists to level the playing field for young carers like Sadie, by providing them with the support, opportunities and friendship that every child needs and deserves.
