Story

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by on my Just Giving page!

On the 18th of September, along with some brave colleagues & friends, I will be sat on the start line of my first (and potentially last) 100km bike ride!

The ride is an annual event which sees thousands of "elite" cyclists/athletes ride together in a large fundraising effort. All funds raised are passed on to the Princes Trust, who do such wonderful work to support young people to turn their lives around in so many ways.

The journey will start in London Stratford before venturing up into the unknown wilderness of Essex. Somewhere along the many KMs, I will be storming through the previous stage 3 of the 2014 Tour de France, before looping back around and heading back towards London.

In typical male fashion, I have left this until very last minute and am a little in denial that I actually have to cycle that far... the thought that I was meant to train for this has been one that has completely skipped my mind. Friday will no doubt be interesting, but I will make it!

All of your kind donations will be going towards a great cause; I will be so incredibly appreciative of any support you're willing to share. Not to mention Barclays will match any of your kind donations, doubling its worth!

THANK YOU!

(Feel free to laugh at the picture.)
