Welcome to my page. I am Dom, a 20 year old student from the UK studying in Amsterdam. This page is here so that all those people who have supported me can now help others in similar situations.

When I was 16 my Dad, Martin (Jimi to most) committed suicide. He never showed his true feelings and to this day I do not know why he decided to leave this world the way he did. Suffering from depression myself, I have struggled at times not to give in. But each day I carry on, I know I am a testament to a man whom I loved like no other.

My Dad never opened up to anyone, because that's not the manly thing to do right? Wrong. The image of masculinity has become so warped that men of all ages are taking their own lives rather than letting their feelings be known. 

Help stop suicide. Redefine what it is to be a man.
