This Sunday I am running the Jane Tomlinson 10K here in , please come and support all the runners on Sunday morning. Route here This is my second challenge after the Wetherby to Filey bike ride.
My run is dedicated to Julie Swinburne, who died 2 years ago this week. She was a remarkable person. She was a good nurse originally in then at and became an Endocrine Specialist Nurse at the LGI. She was an alumnus of . (BSc Hons Health Sciences)
I am raising funds for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre at St James hospital, cancer will after 1 in 3 of us during our life time, we need to better understand and treat this disease.
My training is improving, but I don’t expect a personal best, im still carrying too much weight. Im running tonight so will let you now how I feel.
