Story
One of Dom's closest friends, Gav Mackie is taking on an enormous challenge and will be cycling with four friends across Scotland. Beginning the 500 mile journey in Inverness on the 17th September, the gruelling ride will take place over 7-days across some of the most scenic landscape Scotland has to offer. It also provides cyclists with some of the toughest hills and glens in the country!
We are incredibly grateful to Gav for taking the time out of his incredibly busy schedule to do this in support of both DomFouded and Cancer Research. Please donate generously and support Gav in this challenge.
DomFounded has been formed in memory of Dom Abraham, who died in 2014 age 40 from a rare condition, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Before he died he had committed to setting up a community based foundation with his wife Kath and wanted to raise funds to support community based projects. The first was to build a school in Africa with Fields of Life. He also wanted to support local communities in the UK, particularly to help young people get into work. Sadly he died before he could do it, so we're doing it in his memory - one project at a time, so you know what you're putting your money towards.
