Story

In May of this year, I lost my father, inspiration and friend to the terrible disease that is Prostate Cancer.

Rog battled and fought as hard as he could for 7 years, after initially being told he had 2! He took part in clinical trials and did everything he possibly could to try and beat the disease. Right up until the end, dad was a brave, remarkable and truly inspiring person.

Myself and my family and all his friends miss him terribly and a world without our Rog simply seems unreal!

Dad was so proud of me and my brother in everything we did! He was so proud to see me run, and came down regularly to any events I would take part in. I'll never forget the look on his face when he supported me in London three years in a row, finally achieving a sub 3 last year!

I told Rog I would run Berlin for him and I would continue to do him proud! that is exactly what I plan to do this coming September!

I also plan to help raise as much money asI can to help others who are suffering, and their families, by running in aid of the Prostate Cancer Research Centre. In the hope that others will not have to suffer the loss me and my family have.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Bring on BERLIN!!!
