We are runinng the York 10K on the 4th of August on behalf of my wonderful friend, Reena Jugnarain who lost her fight with cancer and sadly died on the 9th November 2012. She was diagnosed with lymphoma and received amazing treatment at The Christie since June 2011.

Reena was an amazing friend and her loss was extremely traumatic for all that knew her. One of Reena's wishes was for people to donate money to The Christie. By running the York 10K we aim to raise as much money as possible so that it can help people like Reena along with providing invaluble support for family members, in addition to funding research to help hopefully find a cure for this horrific disease that affects so many loved one we all know.
