On Christmas Eve in 1992, my Mum's sister Carmel died of Lymphoma. She was 30.
On 11 November 2003, my good from Steven died after a battle with Leukaemia. He was 19.
On 10 November 2017, my good friend Joe died from complications caused by underlying Leukaemia. He was in his 40s. His boys are now 2 and 4.
Over the years, we've tried to raise money to fund blood cancer research. We've learned that the research works, and we've learned that Cure Leukaemia are supporting a unique approach that will help to make the breakthroughs needed to give every one of the 25,000+ people in the UK each year who are diagnosed with blood cancer a genuine fighting chance. We'll carry on challenging ourselves to support this work. If you want to donate, or raise money yourself, this page is here for you. Thank you for supporting.
