UPDATE - 28th March - I survived the Zip Slide over Old Trafford!!! Phew!!! Was a great day for a great cause and I would be very thankful for any donations, not matter how big or small... I have put a few pics up but there are more on my facebook. Now it's just the run to get ready for, any more fancy dress ideas...???

Hi Everyone

On March 27th I am doing a 190m Zip Slide at Old Trafford and on the 15th May I am doing the BUPA 10k Great Manchester Run to raise money for Christie's.

I chose Christie's because they offered great support and help when my Nana was ill. They are a great Charity offering fantastic services.

As people know, I am not fond of heights. This was embarrassingly proved when I tried to jump off a diving board in Bulgaria and ended up making Mr Bean look good - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4cmrMJul1g ha

For the 10k run, I am training hard (hoping to get rid of my beer belly) and the more money I raise, the stupider I will dress for the run. Last year I did it dressed as Sylvestre. Ideas are welcomed for outfits this year...
