Do it for Dawson has now been running for over 7 years and over the years there has been many crazy challenges but this year as the Grand Depart is coming to Yorkshire, we though it fitting to cycle part of it.
Do it for Dawson is in memory of Al
Dawson, a pupil at QEGS, who sadly lost his life to a rare form of cancer in
2007 when he was just 16. Since then, every summer, the foundation organizes
“Do it for Dawson”. The money raised is going to Teenage Cancer Trust and
Cancer Research UK. These are two charities working to find a cure; who also
provide extra support and care to both patients and their families.
Any donation will be grateful received large or small.

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.
