Hi everyone so i have just got back from a trip to Malawi. It was super intense for several reasons. My first trip for a long time in the hungry season, my first trip as a mother and with my baby; , the first time to see the Tilinanu girls after reintegration and of course the cyclone hitting malawi.

It was so apparent that the rise in living prices and inflation of over 100% on the basics is literally crippling families. Many are only eating a couple of meals a week; many children are now not going to schools because they can’t afford to eat let alone go to school. The situation is really devastating.  

I’m not going to find it easy running this far I haven’t don’t any training and have only ran 5k in the past two year. 

I’ll also be running the 1/2 marathon on my own on Angelsey not in London with all the hype  due to a place mishaps!
