Story

In September 2024, Doing it for Birty are taking on the Northumberland Mighty Hike, 26 miles from Alnwick castle along the coastline to Bamburgh castle, to raise money for people living with cancer.

This year we are unfortunately walking in memory of Ian aka Birty.

Ian lost his battle on 12th February 2024. Aged 40. Ian faced his battle with great courage and bravery, whilst always putting others before his own needs right up until the end.

Ian is greatly missed by all who knew him.

The team has grown this year and so has the amount we need to raise. So Any donation big or small will be gratefully received from us all 🫶🏻
