Story

Some of you knew Darren, many of you didn’t. He was my best buddy at Preston Poly way back in the early 90’s. He sadly passed away on 2nd June 2010 aged just 42 after a brave battle with kidney cancer. Darren was a wonderful son, loving husband, doting father and a truly great friend. Even if you didn't know him please make a donation for a good cause, 5p, 50p, £50 Anything helps.

Halton House Hospice looked after him in his last months and weeks. I’m trying to raise what I can to say thank you to them for doing what they did and to help future patients.

I’m running the Brighton Marathon (yes, it’s the same gruelling 26miles 385 yards as the London Marathon… just the week before, with lighter wristed applause and tighter Lycra)

MAKE A DONATION AND PICK A SONG FOR MY PLAYLIST*

*When you donate, please choose a song for me to add to my running playlist in your comment. I’ll add it to my ipod and think of you cheering me on when it plays.
