Event: Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon 2017, on 8 October 2017
In memory of Darcey Shaw
We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

On the 8th October 2017 I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

I'll be running in memory of Darcey Shaw. Darcey was diagnosed with an aggressive Large Cell Medulloblastoma Brain Tumour and during her illness Darcey spent time at Great Ormond Street Hospital in the Koala Ward. The hospital operated on Darcey, however despite their very best efforts, she was taken form us on the 2nd September 2016 at just two and a half years old.

The team at GOSH do a fantastic job in supporting families and children through times that are unbelievably tough and that many of us couldn't even begin to imagine. Please give generously and help the hospital to continue their great work.

Darcey brought so much joy and happiness in her short life and her memory will live on and help others through your support for this cause. All donations go straight to the hospital and will allow then to continue providing the best facilities and equipment to patients as well as carrying out research and developing new treatments.
