Story
The Commercial Finance (CF) Global Business Unit is excited to announce our Global CF Month this October!
A spinoff of the CF Weeks we hosted regionally in 2019, this month-long event will be packed with panel discussions, charity drives, education sessions, spotlights, prizes and more. Each week you can expect communications via email and MyDLL, plus live events!
Our goal of CF Month is to continue to bring awareness and collaboration to DLL. Commercial Finance is a pivotal part of DLL's growth ambitions, and what better way to drive towards our goals than to share our message, engage and educate members and support our local communities.
This year, we have chosen Foodbank NSW/ACT as our community support partner in A&NZ for CF Month.
Foodbank NSW & ACT provides food and grocery relief to more than 815,000 Aussies every month. Foodbank restores hope to people who are struggling by rescuing and sourcing food and groceries from farmers, manufacturers and retailers and distributing them to front line charities around NSW and the ACT to provide to individuals and families in need.
Since the NSW lockdown was announced on Saturday 26th June 2021, Foodbank NSW & ACT have distributed over 64,618 emergency relief hampers (an increase of 351% with around 2500-3500 hampers packed daily), as well as delivering 704,188 meals a week (an increase of 200%) to those in need.
The impact that we can make from a small contribution:
- For every $1 donated, Foodbank NSW & ACT can provide 2 meals for Aussies in need
- For every $35 donated, Foodbank NSW & ACT can provide an emergency food hamper, which feeds a family of 4 for a week.
On behalf of the CF Australia & New Zealand team, as well as the DLL True Energy/Community Involvement team, we would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our regional charity fundraising page and for your kind contribution to help support a great community initiative.
