Story

DLA Piper has an global partnership with UNICEF aimed at protecting the rights of children around the world. Through this partnership, DLA Piper has contributed more htan $1.5m to date, and has donated pro bono legal services with a value in excess of $6.5m.

In 2015, the inaugural DLA Piper Global Team Challenge saw DLA Piper trek the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia, raising over $190,000 for UNICEF. On the back of that succees, we launched our second Global Team Challenge in 2018, this time a trek to Machu Picchu in Peru. Our aim is to raise a further $270,000 for UNICEF's gloval child protection work.

UNICEF works in 190 countries and territories to protect the rights of every child. UNICEF believes all children have a right to survive, thrive and fulfil their potential - to the benefit of a better world. The money we raise will help UNICEF's global protection work supporting the world's most vulnerable and disadvantaged chidlren, protecting them from violence and exploitation.

Please join us to help support our trekkers Bob Bishop, Alexander Kolmakov, Dylan Kennett and Rebecca Hughes raise money for UNICEF.

The event starts at 6.30pm for a 7pm start on 1 October 2018 at our new London office at 160 Aldersgate Street, London EC1A 4HT.
