Story

Bright children exist across all sections of society, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, or class. Many do not have their abilities recognised and nurtured due to disadvantage or due to their being masked by learning difficulties. Since 1967, Potential Plus UKs mission has been to discover all childrens potential, nurture their abilities, and support them to succeed and thrive with confidence regardless of background or circumstance. The pandemic has had a particularly negative impact on the wellbeing of the young people supported by the charity. In their June 2022 survey 81% of the young people they support have suffered with anxiety and a further 34% with other mental health issues. And whilst demand for the charitys services increased, their ability to fundraise was significantly reduced. Please help raise funds for Potential Plus UK by participating in Challenge55, so more young people like Bethany, Ravi and Ryan can lead fulfilling lives.
