Animal rehoming centre's are under increasing pressure, with a sharp increase in dogs needing to be rehomed expected as people go back to work and can no longer look after them.
In support of The Dog's Trust, I am arranging a charity walk (suggested amount of £10 per person) beginning at the Blue Bell Hill Picnic Site Car Park, walking along Common Road and then Hill Road, circling Nashenden Down and heading towards The Robin Hood for a well deserved drink, or two.
Date: 23 May 2021 - Time: Midday
Anyone and everyone is welcome, along with their dogs. I'm expecting more than 30 people, so am asking those who are going to join us to email me so I can stagger the start time and avoid us all being sent to prison for breaching rules - bobby.shirley@sjpp.co.uk
Of course, anyone can donate, it is not exclusive for those attending the event!
I like forward to seeing you all for one of the first social events in a very long time.
Bobby (& Dukey, Recky, Belle Bubbles, Ronnie and Bear).
Why 'A Dizzy Walk'?, when Belle and Dukey had their puppies last year, Dizzy Dolly wasn't quite strong enough to survive and we lost her after 5 weeks, she was a lovely little thing who liked nothing more than running around being chased by the other pups.
