Distance for Daya, 16 August 2018
Fun-loving Daya is now in remission after raising funds for life-saving surgery in New Yok in 2018. When she was just eleven months old, Daya was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.

Story

Daya is a 22-month-old powerhouse who has been battling a rare form of childhood cancer for over half her little life.

Daya’s family need to urgently raise £362,000 for specialist surgery in
New York to help remove a complex tumour in her abdomen and give her the best chance of being cancer-free.

A bunch of friends and colleagues have joined forces to collectively swim the 21 mile distance of the English Channel for Daya on Monday 17 September at Brockwell Lido.

The distance and water temperature make this a real challenge but we all want to do something special for Daya and this exceptional cause.

We would be grateful for any donations (large or small) towards Daya's treatment . All funds are held by the charity Solving Kids' Cancer; any surplus will help SKC in its work to improve the clinical research of, and treatment options for, neuroblastoma.
