Vitality Hackney Half Marathon 2015 · 10 May 2015 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hello all, on May 10th I will be running the Hackney half marathon, just because I can....I hope. And because I'm such a nice guy, I decided to raise some money for Stroke Association whilst I do it.

Every year there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK. That's one stroke every three and a half minutes. Most people affected are over 65, but anyone can have a stroke, including children and even babies.

Stroke Association support stroke survivors, families and carers and fund research into the prevention and treatment of stroke.

By supporting my race you are helping Stroke Association help families across the country, so thank you in advance!
