Story
It has been a very difficult time for us all during the last 2 years due to the pandemic.
I took up cycling at the start of the pandemic as I was struggling with home working during initial lockdown.
Cycling gave me the interaction with the outside world and help improve my mental and physical health.
This is my second long ride, however, the London to Brighton brings its own challenges!!
I am cycling for Bowel Cancer UK as appreciation for their vital work, which without doubt contributed to my wife’s full recovery after being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer 11 years ago.
Every year in the UK 42, 000 people who are diagnosed with bowel cancer.
