It’s time to hang up the swimming costume and get into my running shoes. I am so proud and excited (and mildly terrified!) to join the Diabetes UK TCS London Marathon 2023 Team! I am so grateful to have been offered this opportunity to fulfil a lifelong dream while supporting a charity that has become so important to me. 

As most of you know, my daughter Sky was diagnosed with T1 diabetes a year ago at just 8 years old. It has been a challenging time for Sky but she is absolutely bossing it along with her older sister Mia, who has been so amazing supporting Sky all the way. Their lives have changed so much in the last year and I couldn't be more proud of how they have coped and supported each other through this massive life change. I'm running the London Marathon to give back to Sky, to Mia and all of the 4.8million people living with diabetes in the UK right now, and their families.

In supporting me you are helping Diabetes UK work towards a future where diabetes can do no harm. Thank you so much!
