Those who have experienced neonatal care will know how traumatic this can be especially when it should be the most joyous time welcoming a new life. Our daughter was born at 27 weeks gestation, 13 weeks early! Alesha developed Necrotising enter colitis (NEC) a bowel disease which kills many preterm babies each year, thanks to those at simpsons neonatal Edinburgh, they saved our girl many many times, we spent 5 months at simpsons before moving to sick kids Edinburgh for further care, the care, compassion not only to Alesha’s care but to myself as her mum (my first born) and dad we couldn’t thank them enough. 

Each year we try do something  for the unit so they can provide that special care or specific equipment not funded by NHS, please help me & Alesha give back to those who saved her and now nearing age 13 we are forever grateful 🥲 this year We be doing the kiltwalk and walking 14.6 miles for them in the BIG STROLL
