Niki was born in Famagusta on 16^th August 1945, to Demetris and Galatia Miltiadous. She was the youngest of three daughters.  She left Cyprus as a young child and moved with her family to London, where she met and married Andreas Georgiou on 8^th December 1962.

Mary was born in London before the family moved to Glasgow.  Three more children quickly followed – Galatia, Dimitrios and George.  Niki was a beloved grandmother to Zoe, Rachael, Nicholas, Sean, Sophie, Eva, Luca and Alicia.
