Story
The Malala Fund is focused on increasing the number of girls across the world that can access 12 years of free, safe, quality education. There are 130 million girls currently out of school and by investing in local educators through the Champion Network, the Malala Fund is working on making it easier for all girls to learn.
The pandemic has placed another barrier to prevent girls from learning with the Malala Fund's research suggesting 20 million girls in low-and lower-middle-income countries may never return to the classroom. Over the next 3 years, the Malala Fund is focusing on keeping girls learning even if their schools are closed, re-enrolling girls to catch up on missed lessons, and supporting education systems to deal with future crises. By donating to the Malala Fund, you can support them in giving the same opportunities to young girls across the world that young boys currently enjoy.
