Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Asbestos Action are a small charity based in Dundee that provide a dedicated support service to asbestos victims. They offer one to one holistic support to anybody diagnosed with a fatal asbestos condition. They do a fantastic job often seeing people at their most vulnerable.

As a team we have decided to carry out a sponsored trek to raise funds for Asbestos Action to help them continue to do their great work. On the 6th April 2018 , the whole team, that's Fraser, Euan, Nick, Jillian, Mark, Gary, Caitlyn, Siobhan and Nadia will set off from Leven at about 8.00am and walk 26 miles along the Fife Coastal Trail with an end point at the Ruins of Rosyth Castle next to the Dockyard at around 18.00.

Along the way we will walk past many place and sites that we come across in our day to day work, including Methil, Kirkcaldy and its various factories and works, Burntisland Shipyard, the Alcan Plant, Wards Shipbreaking yard at Inverkeithing and ending next to the Dockyard in Rosyth.
