Story

We are blessed with a gentle giant that we all love and we have couple stories with over the years... But our friend Dieter has a million moments with every single 1 of us that he saves and cherishes within his mind (and damn phone!) this year in honour of our friend I’d like to raise as much money as possible for the Asperger’s charity that helps people understand and cope with an complex and frustrating mental health problem.

Nobody made a template for Asperger’s and no 2 people are the same, we are lucky that in Dieter we have the most loving, caring, generous, supportive and loyal friend to ever be blessed with! Yes he goes over the top on everything, he always has a phone in his hand, he will always invade personal space, he will always try and call 1000 times a day to make sure everyone else is ok and that is just OUR Dieter. To Dieter we are all important to him because we love him as he is and never judged him. He has always been open and honest about his asperger's and works in the school to help others understand and be supportive to children that are scared and struggling. Dieter has shown over the years that he is inspiring to the young and make thier futures brighter and confident. Dieter has also inspired adults and raised the awareness of mental health. The big ginger unit found his release and passion in rugby and also found a family.

He is a real gentleman to all people, good husband to Lisa, amazing father to his pride and joy Olly, loving son to Bern and Sylvia, outstanding big brother to darren, samantha and Damion, loving uncle and an amazing friend to us all…However, to me.....He is The most precious friend and live saver.
