One day, two years ago, we started cleaning the communal areas in a woman’s refuge. One of the girls there use to sit on the stairs and we just use to talk about life. Literally, within two months she died. This really effected me! She had a really tough life. This Christmas we're dedicating our energy to the charity that helped her get off the streets. So, we contacted the local Hanover Community and we were so overwhelmed with the generosity towards the hampers You can hear it in my voice. The next few days I’m NOT running around buying meaningless Christmas presents, my only energy is raising money. Once we have achieved £500 target, the hampers will be taken to our local NHS and distributed to nurses and doctors that have been working hard over the Christmas period.
