This February marks my 12th 'Diaversary' - anniversary of being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. To commemorate this, I am walking one mile for every year of having it.

I am raising money for JDRF - the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - the main charity for raising awareness of type  1 diabetes in younger people. They also fund a lot of research into finding a cure for diabetes.
