Sick Kids & Simpsons Special Care Babies 10,000 Feet Freefall Tandem Skydive · 14 April 2012

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In Feb 2006, my second daughter Beth was born at 28 weeks weighing 755 grams (1lb 10oz). The support & dedication shown by the staff of Simpsons Special Care Babies neonatal unit & The Sick Kids Hospital was & continues to be amazing & inspirational. Now 6 years of age, Beth is still a little girl but with a big personality!

So, to say thank you and to raise money for Simpsons & Sick Kids, on Saturday 30th June 2012 (2nd time lucky & conditions permitting) I shall be jumping out of an plane to complete a 10,000 feet tandem skydive (seemed like a good idea at the time!). Hope you like the page & I'll keep it updated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I understand that times are tough right now so whatever you choose to donate would be hugely appreciated.

Dianne, Tess & Beth xxx.
