I am organising and taking part in various fundraising events for Yorkhill childrens foundation in memory of my son Rhys Robertson whospent the 5weeks of his short life in Yorkhill childrens hospital.Rhys was born with congenital heart disease and had to undergo major open heart surgery.Unfortunately slightly over 4weeks after his surgery due to complications Rhys passed away. However during his stay in the hospital Rhys like many other children was provided with round the clock care by a team of devoted nurses and doctors. He was also supported by various machinery to allow his body to rest in hope ofrecovery. Although the attempts to support his body where in vain they could not have been offered atall if the machinery was not available andwithout the foundation this may have been the case. I therefor ask that you donate to the Yorkhill childrens foundation so they can continue providing money for machinery that may just save a childs life.
