Story
My mum, Diane Ashton, sadly passed away on the 8th December after battling EHE cancer for just over a year.
EHE (Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma) is a very rare form of cancer, apparently affecting only 1 in a million people. Because it is so rare, there is very little we know about it and in turn, no proven treatment or cure. The EHE Rare Cancer Charity both offers support for people living with EHE, whilst promoting, funding and providing research into this disease.
The nature of this disease is that no doctor can tell you what to expect from it. With the help of our donations, the charity can hopefully see that one day doctors are both aware of this type of cancer and have sufficient research to help patients beat it.
Thanks,
Emily
