Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Why am I doing this you may ask, well these events and struggles to train and complete are nothing compared to what super Seb lives with daily.

Sebastian was born with complete absence of his corpus Callosum, this does NOT stop him and gave him his super power of pure grit and determination to succeed. Sebastian amazes me, he’s such a sensitive, caring boy he puts his heart and soul into everything he does. With the outstanding support from his amazing parents Sebastian is thriving in life and a joy to be with.

The corpus Callosum connects the left side of the brain to the right side, each side being known as a hemisphere. The connection allows information to pass between the two halves.

Corpus Callosum is Latin for “tough body,” and the corpus callosum is the largest connective pathway in the brain, being made up of more than 200 million nerve fibres.

Sebastian was born without a Corpus Callosum. This is known as agenesis of the corpus callosum, and it causes a wide variety of physical and behavioural symptoms. This does not stop him from trying so hard and succeeding.

These events completed along with his Dad, Dan will help raise awareness of this rare medical condition and support for families and the children who are born with this condition.
