Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am organising a Craft-tea party as 'Together for short lives' is a charity I can definitely associate with and they're helping to organise a 'Craft-tea' event to raise the profile of the charity and to raise much needed funds.
I'll set up some fun craft events in the Stitchscape studio at unit 2, Southworth Business Suites, Southworth Road, Newton-le-Willows. WA12 OHS. It will be on May 17th at 1 to 4p.m. You can nip in for a few moments or you can stay a little while, make something easy and fun or just stand/sit around having a natter with the friends you bring along. Plenty of drinks and cake to help the time be even more enjoyable. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon in May?! If we're lucky enough to have good weather, there's still plenty of the day left to enjoy the outdoors too.
The children who struggle with life-threatening or life-shortening illnesses will gain by getting access to professional support at a critical time in their and their families' lives. We will gain by knowing that our small donation helps them get that support and we get to have a lovely afternoon crafting, chatting and having afternoon tea. Win/win!
I've set up this page incase you can't make it to that event, yet you still would like to make a donation.
Please visit their website - http://www.togetherforshortlives.org.uk/about/who_we_are for more information.
