Story
As you may or may not be aware I turned “50”at the beginning of the year and instead of celebrating with a party, I want to celebrate by completing 5 challenges throughout the year to raise money for charity.
There are many charities I could have chosen in memory of
recently lost loved ones but I have chosen the MS Therapy Centre (S.Yorks) as I know of many people, friends and family whose lives have been affected by MS. This centre has been a great support to one very special lady, Carole, and it is mainly due to Carole, that I have been inspired to take up these challenges and support the MS Therapy Centre (S.Yorks).
So with the support of my family, friends and the continuous encouragement and support from my husband Paul, as I couldn’t do any of this without his help. I hope to complete over the year:-
The LONDON MARATHON in April, my 16 week training programme has already started and now I remember why I said I wouldn’t do this
again!!
A WINGWALK in June, thank you to my special friends who have made this possible – I’m not scared……yet!
To get to the top of BEN NEVIS in August, this challenge will also test my husband, Paul, he will complete it with me.
To cycle COAST TO COAST in September, this is again a challenge that will be completed with Paul, his idea!! I am better on my feet than on wheels!! Our keen biking and special friends Sue & Graham, will be leading and supporting us all the way.
The BRIDLINGTON HALF MARATHON in October, to end the challenges this will be my third attempt at the half marathon, maybe this time I might beat my time or my running partner!
PLEASE help me to celebrate my 50th year by supporting me and helping me raise as much money as I can for the MS Therapy Centre (S.Yorks).
Keep checking throughout the year and see the updates and maybe even some photos.
THANK YOU.
