Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many of you will know, my 16 year old son, Tom, was recently diagnosed with having a carcinoid tumour of his appendix. Tom has undergone 2 lots of surgery and we are waiting to hear if they have been successful.

The news has turned our lives upside down but we know we are in the excellent care of the national specialist centre  for bowel conditions at Northwick Park and St Mark's Hospitals. I  have decided to raise funds for St Mark's Hospital Foundation, by hopefully completing the British Gas Great London Swim, which is a one mile swim in Victoria Dock (yuk!) on Saturday, 3rd July.
