Professor Helen Young is a fellow Soroptimist and dedicates all her holidays to nusring all the participants who stay on the Jumbalance to trips abroad such as Lourdes.  It's a 24/7 job and lasts up to 2 weeks at a time, it's exhausting as you can imagine.  Although it's run through the Catholic church it is non denominational and anyone with a disability can go.  I have seen a Jumbalance and it's amazing how they are equiped for any eventuality.  Like all charities they are struggling because of the pandemic so I'd like to support it.
