Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the Jigsaw Appeal for Women by doing the Twilight Walk for Women on 3rd June 2011 9pm, from Bournemouth seafront to help raise £1.5 million  to upgrade the Woman's Health Unit at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The distance is 10K. (No more marathon walks for me), so a walk in the park. As you may know I have done walks in the past the help raise funds for various cancer charities, so I know you have been very generous and I am hoping this time you will do the same!

Well it is the day after the walk and I have completed the 10K.  My joints on my left foot are a little sore but apart from that, the walk was fine.  we had a good view of Bournemouth Pier on the way back with the fireworks to light the way.  Good evening. Thank you to all those who have donated and those who still wish to.  Worthy cause.
