Story
Peel1 and Red Leader 65 are taking part in the Great South 10 mile run on Sunday October 25th.
We are training hard our legs are killing, Peels hair has fallen out and Red Leader is going grey, and we have even cut down on the booze! Ok maybe I lied about the booze but I can’t lie about the hair or hide it like Di.
We both felt we would like to raise money for the British Lung Foundation as Gordon Bentley sadly passed away from Pulmonary Fibrosis last October.
Peel1 and Red Leader 65 miss his scouse wit and the laughs we all had, not to mention the unique dialogue (Day do Doh dont day do) that will stay with us forever. Footy was Gordon’s passion and Everton was his team, but his knowledge of the game didn't stop in the premiership, he'd even chat about lowly !! (Come on U blues).
He is missed by all but most of all by his loving wife Joan, Joan we will always be here for you.
Please help Neil and Di raise a little money; god knows we need all the motivation we can get.
This is our little bit for Gordon.
