Story
Little Princess Trust is a UK based charity set up in 2007 in memory of Hannah Tarplee, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2005. Like most little girls, Hannah loved her hair and losing it as a result of her treatment was very traumatic.
The trust provide real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment or other medical conditions such as alopecia.
The wigs are specially designed for children, both boys and girls, to make them as comfortable and natural-looking as possible. The trust also provide personal fitting and styling sessions to ensure the wig is as close as possible to the original hair.
The work they do makes such a huge difference in giving children back their confidence and helping them to feel like children again - but in order to do great things they need donations. That's why in August this year I'll be cutting off my hair to send to the Princess Trust. It takes, on average, £350 to make just one wig so any donations you can spare willl make a huge difference.
