Story

The original plan was to do the Bupa Great Winter Run 2014, but due to unforeseen circumstances we are now doing the Edinburgh Parkrun at Cramond (don't worry, it's still an official 5k!).  As this run is free to do, all the runners will be donating their original entrance fee to MND Scotland which is an extra £300!  It takes place at 9.30am on Saturday 11th January.

We are doing the run to raise money for MND Scotland in memory of my step-dad, Alan Ewart, who sadly passed away in October this year after a 2 year battle with motor neurone disease.

Alan was a keen rugby player and golfer, a respected business man and a much loved person by all friends and family.  Both Alan and our family were well supported by MND Scotland throughout his illness.

Not a lot is known about motor neurone disease, and they really benefit from all donations to further research on the disease and to continue to support people who suffer from the disease and their families.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and thank you to anyone who donates in advance!
