I'm planning to run the Bath Half with Marie, my niece and Helen, my sister-in-law to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Society in memory of Meirion who died of MND in October last year. MND is such an awful disease which is devastating for both the sufferer and their family.  The MNDS is a lifeline, providing invaluable support and advice.    

This won't be my finest hour due to the embarrassing lack of training, but I'm hoping that determination and enthusiasm will make up for the lack of ability.  Also, the prospect of a run without snow, ice, sleet, biting wind and rain and a temperature above freezing seems almost a treat!
