I hope you will take a moment to read about why this is so important to me.  I believe in being good to each other, in helping those who need it, in providing a chance for better life.  I believe that it is a basic human right to live a healthy, happy and productive life.  But as we all know, not every one gets that opportunity.  I have been given a chance to volunteer in Malawi, Africa for 4 months with Ripple Africa.  I will be working with children who are the future of their communities.  They desperately want the chance to learn and grow, to meet their potential and end the cycle of poverty and sickness. 

There are many reasons why I want to volunteer and so many reasons why I believe in this organization.  Helping others gives me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that no amount of money or material possessions ever could.  I know that giving these children an opportunity is the right thing to do, and I hope you do too!
