Vodafone employees are raising £1 million for Vodafone Foundation's Girl Fund, which is supporting charitable programmes that use technology to address some of the biggest issues affecting girls today.

Story

Did you know 130 million girls remain out of school and 71% of human trafficking victims are female? I have chosen to #ShineALight for girls to raise awareness of the huge challenges girls around the world face and, crucially, the funds to address them.

In September 2019, I will be taking part in the Iceland Volcanic Trek challenge to raise money for Vodafone Foundation’s Girl Fund, a restricted fund dedicated to supporting charitable programmes that use technology to improve girls’ access to education, informal learning and health services in the countries where Vodafone operates. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference to improve the lives of vulnerable girls. Thank you!
