Eeeeek.....

I'm running the Royal Parks Half for Independent Age and with ten weeks to go you probably all know how terrified I am!!

It will definitely be worth it though because Independent Age is unique in providing lifelong support for older people on very low incomes to live with dignity and peace of mind in their later years.

Please read on to see how your donation can help Independent Age and the people we support:

£10 can buy a big-button telephone to ensure a visually impaired older person can stay in touch with friends & family

£50 can cover the cost of repairs to a cooker, to ensure an older person can eat hot meals

£70 can provide 10 visually impaired older people with magnifiers so they experience the joy of reading

£100 can cover the cost of an older person taking part in our telephone friendship group for a year, giving them the opportunity to socialise with others on a regular basis.
