Story
I, ( Diana), am proud to be Hope4's Chair of Trustees. We are a small charity with a big punch! Our clients say that the Hope Centre is their safe space, a caring and inclusive environment, commenting that in their experience there is nowhere like it in Rugby or the surrounding area.
Why? Because they receive a holistic, person-centred service - from the immediate need of a tent to longer term solutions including permanent housing and, importantly, gaining the skills needed to maintain a tenancy, employment and to address mental & physical health issues. Clients can use the Centre's facilities - showers, IT, laundry, clothing, tents, food, health clinic. A tailored support plan is developed covering their benefit claims, housing & job applications, health needs, immigration status. Find out more
Our aim is to enable each person to reach their potential. We may work with clients for a few days if their situation can be easily resolved, or several years as they work towards independance.
I never cease to be amazed at how often our clients do turn their lives round when we walk the journey with them - believing in them, lending them our hope that life really can get better. Join me in ensuring we can continue to do this.
By the way, it costs £500 a day to keep the Centre open.
