Story
Streatham and Clapham Nursery take part in this annual event to raise money for disadvantaged children around the world and last year we raised a whopping £500. Although we are limited by our physical togetherness, we remain virtually connected and despite our distance, I hope we will be united in our goal to raise money for ‘Save the Children.’
On Thursday, or at your convenience next week, please put those Wellies on and go on a ‘Muddy Puddle Walk’. There is no rain forecast next week, so I will send some suggestions of how to create some ‘splash’ after all, according to Peppa Pig, “even the Queen likes splashing up and down in muddy puddles, splish, splash, splosh, splish, splash!”
Muddy Puddle Walkers from across the UK have raised over half a million pounds to help make sure children, wherever they live in the world, have the chance to become whoever they want to be.The money your little ones raise on their Muddy Puddle Walk for Save the Children will help children in the worlds toughest places stay healthy, safe and get the chance to learn. In the UK and around the world, we at Save the Children make sure children are safe and healthy. We support them to learn, grow and become who they want to be.
