Story
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity raises money to enable the hospital to provide world class care and to pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illnesses. With over 255,000 patient visits every year, the charity needs support to help give hope to its young patients and their families.
31 Media, organisers of DevOps Industry Awards, are proud to support Great Ormond Street Hospital, and will be raising funds for this very worthy cause tonight. There will be a prize draw held after dinner, where one lucky winner will win a fantastic prize. All proceeds from the prize draw will be donated to the charity.
“We’re so grateful to DevOps Industry Awards for their generosity and support. The money raised will help make a huge difference to young patients and families from across the UK,” Laura Savory, Senior Fundraising Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity said.
Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals with the broadest range of dedicated, children’s healthcare specialists under one roof in the UK. The hospital’s pioneering research and treatment gives hope to children who are suffering from the rarest, most complex and often life-threatening conditions, from across the country and abroad.
The Charity needs to raise money to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, provide vital up-to-date equipment and fund research into better treatments for the children. For more information visit www.gosh.org.
