Story

We are racing virtually around the globe to raise awareness and money to make a positive difference to people affected by genetic bleeding disorders here in the UK, one step at a time. Our goal is to cover 38,100 miles in just over 60 days, starting on 17 February through to 17 April, which is World Haemophilia Day. We hope to get fitter, get to know each other, and raise lots of funds for the Haemophilia Society. At the Haemophilia Society we want to empower everyone affected by a genetic bleeding disorder to live life to the full. All the events, information and services that we provide are free, which is only possible thanks to the generosity of all our amazing supporters, thank you. Bleeding disorders are a group of conditions that result when the blood cannot clot properly. Around one in 2,000 in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which is almost always inherited.
